TD Ameritrade, Inc. (CRD #7870, Bellevue, Nebraska) submitted a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent in which the firm was censured and fined $35,000. Without admitting or denying the findings, the firm consented to the described sanctions and to the entry of findings that it failed to disclose to customers all material facts concerning municipal securities transactions, in that the firm failed to disclose to certain customers the underlying credit rating of insured municipal bonds at or prior to the time of purchase.
